What & Why:

As a result of growth within their automation team, our client is looking to add an AI Business Analyst to their team. This role is focused on one of the most forward-looking mandates in the company right now, identifying and driving Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI agent-based automation opportunities across the entire organization. You’ll be the connective tissue between business stakeholders, developers, product managers, and vendors, translating real business problems into automation solutions and making sure those solutions actually get built, tested, and adopted. A big part of the role is facilitation and discovery running workshops, mapping processes, and vetting where Copilot and agentic tools can make the biggest impact. You’ll also own the reporting and analytics side, tracking adoption and measuring the value of automation initiatives through dashboards and usage metrics. It’s a highly cross-functional role that blends analytical rigor, technical fluency, and strong communication skills in equal measure.

They have an all-star leadership team who keeps you accountable and provides support while still affording you tremendous autonomy. They are located close to rapid transit in newly renovated offices in downtown Vancouver and this role will be hybrid in office 3 days a week.
 

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• 5+ years of business analysis experience, including requirements gathering, process documentation, and end-to-end solution testing, ideally within or alongside technology teams.
• Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot and agentic automation solutions, including experience designing use cases, validating deployments, and providing go/no-go recommendations.
• Strong data analysis and dashboarding skills with proven experience building reports in Microsoft Power BI and tracking adoption or operational metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence), with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and experience facilitating workshops and presenting insights to cross-functional audiences.

Compensation:

This role pays between $70-80 per hour.
