What & Why:

Due to investment in AI, our client is looking to add a unique Software Engineer to their team. This role focuses on leading proof-of-concept projects that leverage AI tools to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. Ideally you will have 10+ years of software development experience with at least 2 years working hands-on with AI models like Claude, GPT, and Gemini, and will serve as both a technical leader and educator, helping SRE teams identify the right AI solutions for their use cases while documenting outcomes and mentoring colleagues. This is a senior individual contributor role that requires someone who can work autonomously, handle ambiguity pragmatically, and balance technical depth with clear communication across teams.

You:

You will bring the following education, skills and experience to the role:

• Hands on experience with Claude, Gemini, GPT, Hugging Face ecosystem.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies and programming languages and a deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms.

Compensation:

This role pays between $95-100 per hour.
