Data Entry Clerk, Accounts Payable
High-volume alpha-numerical data-entry, working on a corporate AP team. 6-month contract, with chance for extension and permanent. Working for a very successful, stable, and well-established global company in a unique and exciting industry. Based in Vancouver, either 4 or 5 days a week in-office. Using Kofax, Laserfiche, and Excel.

Our client has an over 40-year history of creating wildly successful products that are sold across North America and beyond. They have values that promote teamwork, trust, and sincerity. The company has approximately 1000 employees and is continuing to grow. Multiple entities, operations in many countries, very complex and interesting business.
What- the Job:
The Data Entry Clerk, Accounts Payable will play a critical role on the Accounts Payable team in the Vancouver head office. This detail-oriented, diligent, efficient, and reliable individual will review the AP invoices being entered into the company’s systems, comparing the data pulled in from Laserfiche to ensure all the data is there and accurate. Using various systems including Kofax, Laserfiche, and Excel. This role entails around 6 hours a day of alpha-numerical data entry, as well as internal and external communication (mostly over email) with vendors/suppliers to track down any missing information or to address any errors in the AP invoices.
This is a 6-month contract term, with chance for extension or possibly even to convert to full-time, permanent employment (many of SWIM’s past contractors have converted to permanent at this company, but there is of course never any guarantee).
Who- the Candidate:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person with at least 3 years of experience doing alpha-numerical data entry for a company. Ideally candidates will have worked specifically on reviewing and inputting AP invoices. Qualified candidates must have high data entry typing speed and high level of accuracy. Experience with KOFAX and Laserfiche is highly preferred, and basic to intermediate level Excel skills are required.
Where:
Based in the company’s beautiful Vancouver head office– accessible by car, bike lanes, walking trails, bus, and SkyTrain. Close to many amenities and shops, in a vibrant area, outside of downtown Vancouver. Full-time Monday-Friday in office. The contractor can potentially work from home 1 day a week under certain circumstances- please discuss with your Recruiter at SWIM.
How Much:
Hourly rate of $20 to $27.50 an hour plus 4% vacation pay. Please discuss your compensation expectations further with your recruiter. If/when this role becomes permanent, the employee will be eligible for a customizable health benefits plan, paid vacation, RRSP match, a deferred profit-sharing program (after 6 months waiting period), and other perks.
