Emma Patrick, Recruitment Consultant

The Serious Stuff:
Emma started her recruitment career in 2007, after discovering her love for talent acquisition while in retail management and recruiting for her own teams. Her diverse experience has been gained throughout New Zealand working for large organisations in both agency and in-house recruitment. In early 2015, Emma and her husband decided to take the plunge and relocate to Canada, to experience living, working, and travelling in another country. Emma is passionate about quality service, has a sense of urgency with an ethical approach, and believes in building long-lasting relationships with both clients and candidates. Oh, and she loves to have fun! Emma has a BCA specialising in Management and Management Science from Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand.

The Fun Stuff:
A born and raised New Zealander (aka “Kiwi”), Emma loves to spend time with people, and she has recently caught a major travel bug! She loves visiting new places, finding hidden shopping haunts, and exploring her new home of Vancouver. She is “obsessed” with dogs, and owns a Golden Labrador called Jack who is back in New Zealand. Emma came to Swim Recruiting as she instantly felt the firm offers quality service and an ethical approach, a great environment and genuine team, and a true commitment to work-life balance.
