Simon’s initial career choice was accounting and finance and he trained as a Chartered Accountant in England; With this solid foundation he moved into recruitment over 10 years ago and has had a successful career advising and placing top tier finance, accounting and taxation professionals. Well known in the Lower Mainland as the person who can match the right people to the right positions, Simon’s trusting approach to quality will help you take the plunge.

Simon holds a BSc in Mathematics and Management from the University of Leeds, England.

With 10+ years in the recruitment industry, Bodil brings both an agency background and in-house recruitment experience. On the agency side, Bodil has worked all the way from recruitment consultant to branch manager for some of the country’s leading agencies. On the consulting side, Bodil has provided recruitment process engineering for clients in the hi-tech community, in all areas from Finance to Technology, across Canada.

Bodil studied Anthropology at the University of Toronto from 1992-1996.

With a passion for the recruitment industry, Sam brings a total of 10 years experience to the Swim recruiting team. Sam has focused on numerous industry disciplines, including Engineering and Technical, Supply Chain and Operations, and Finance and Accounting all as an agency recruiter. Sam has recruited for some of the leading Canadian and International engineering and oil and gas firms in Atlantic Canada and BC. Focusing on providing quality searches, Sam has successfully provided top level talent for his clients.

Sam completed his MA from Memorial University of Newfoundland. He is also an avid musician and ice hockey goaltender, still dreaming of his chance to be the oldest player ever signed by the Vancouver Canucks.

Christine has 12 years of recruitment experience spanning all areas of Finance and Accounting, both temporary and permanent search. Her sense of urgency and ethical practices have made her a powerhouse in the local recruiting market. Her proven relationships with both candidates and clients is the foundation of her second to none matching abilities.

Christine's first 6 years of recruitment included temp and contract and as a result, she is quick and able to provide you the right person in a few hours. Her passion is permanent recruitment where the focus is really on fit. Her mantra when it comes to recruiting is "People are hired on skill but fired on fit".

Christine has a BA and MBA from UVIC.

Genevieve’s career started within marketing and special event planning, but her love for networking and relationship-building eventually led her to the world of recruitment. Now with over two years experience in the industry, Genevieve remains as passionate as ever about matching great candidates with companies wherein they can prosper. Accounting and Finance recruitment is Genevieve’s primary area of expertise and she is a pro at navigating the dynamic, yet closely-knit, Vancouver market.

Genevieve has a BA in English Honours from UBC.

Anna joins Swim with three years of local recruitment experience in finance, accounting and administration, handling both permanent and contract placements.

Anna builds relationships quickly and loves the matchmaking piece of the recruitment process. Offering a professional and energetic approach she has had great success in finding the right fit for clients and candidates alike.

Anna studied International Development and Politics at Lund’s University, Sweden and UBC, Vancouver.

Trevor is a Senior Recruitment Consultant with 10 years experience recruiting all levels of Information Technology, Engineering and Finance in the Vancouver market having helped to build and manage successful practices for new recruiting ventures and large multi-national companies. He brings a collaborative approach and style to the Swim recruiting team.

Trevor has an Associate’s Degree in History from Kwantlen Polytechnic University making him a killer Trivial Pursuit and Jeopardy player.

Vanessa’s experience in the recruitment industry spans over 8 years and includes customer service, recruitment and administration in Vancouver’s leading agencies. Currently at Swim, Vanessa heads up the Professional Recruiting Division, which includes Administration, Sales & Marketing, HR, AP/AR, Legal and Office, both permanent and temporary. Having seen all sides of how an agency works, she ensures the highest level of follow-up and service.

Vanessa studied General Arts at SFU since 2000.

Brian joins the Swim team with 3 years recruiting for a global staffing leader in the New Zealand and Australian markets. Coming from an IT background, Brian has excellent insight in to the technology marketplace and the people that move it.

Brian holds a Bachelor of Business Double Major in Information Technology and Management from the Auckland University of Technology.
